Is DUO-A suitable for sensitive skin?
DUO-A is a high-strength Vitamin A treatment best suited to experienced retinoid users. If you are new to retinoids, we recommend starting with a lower-strength Vitamin A formula before progressing to DUO-A.
Will DUO-A make my skin more sensitive to the sun?
Retinoids can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning, including during the winter months, and reapply regularly when outdoors or exposed to direct sunlight.
How soon can I expect to see results?
With consistent use, you may begin to notice improvements in skin texture and tone within 2–4 weeks. More significant improvements in the appearance of fine lines, firmness and overall skin quality may become visible after 8–12 weeks, although results will vary between individuals.
Can I use DUO-A alongside in-clinic treatments?
DUO-A can be incorporated into a professionally guided skincare programme alongside treatments such as peels and microneedling. As retinoids may need to be paused before and after certain procedures, always follow the advice of your skincare practitioner regarding when to stop and restart use.
How to Use
Dispense one pump and apply to clean, dry skin in the evening. Begin by using every 1–3 nights, depending on your skin’s tolerance, gradually increasing to nightly use as your skin adjusts.
Follow with a moisturiser if additional hydration is required. Always apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher during the day when using retinoids.
Not suitable for use during pregnancy.
